Sun tanning lotion in a tanning bed

I just bought Hawaiian tropics golden tanning oil, and I have never tanned in a tanning bed in my life, anyways if I use a lot of sunscreen and then the tanning oil, will that damage my skin, because i use jergens natural glow for a nice glow/tan look, but the thing is I don’t like to sit out and tan, I just like to sit out because the sun feels good, and so I put on a lot of sunscreen, and then I only put the tanning oil on because it smells good and feels good, will this damage my skin badly?
